I'm back in Manila after 12 awesome days in Japan! It always feels a bit sad to come home, but this time, it feels really good. I'm ready to get back to my normal life and focus on what's important.
Last December, I learned that it's important to find balance. I traveled a lot – Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, then straight to London for the holidays – and I got really tired and ended up getting sick. Going from summer in Australia to winter in the UK was hard on my body. I loved spending time with my brother (he just got engaged!) and my parents, and I even got to show them around London this time. But all that travel made me sick. I had a bad cough for weeks and had to see the doctor a few times. Thankfully, I got better just in time for my birthday trip to Tokyo in January, but it taught me a lesson: I need to take better care of myself.
Time to Focus
So, for now, I'm going to focus on two things: my health and my business. I've been thinking a lot lately, and I have some exciting ideas I'll share soon. But one thing's for sure: I'm really excited about the future!
The Travel Bug is Back (and My Travel Plans)
Even though I just got back from a trip, I'm already thinking about the next one! I guess that's how much I love to travel. Here are my travel plans for the first part of 2025:
April: Penang, Malaysia, during Holy Week.
May: Tokyo (again!) for my brother's wedding to May (she's half Japanese!). Then a quick trip back home to Bicol for a cousin's wedding and to see my family.
June: 12 days in Florida for the MDRT Annual Meeting, where I'll be speaking!
I don't have any set plans for the second half of the year yet, but I'm thinking about Bangkok and Bohol in July, Australia in August, and our usual December trip (I haven't decided where to go yet!).
Why I Love to Travel
Traveling is more than just visiting new places. It helps me grow as a person and brings me so much joy.
People & Culture: I get to learn about different ways of life and understand people better.
Experiences & Food: I make amazing memories by trying new things and eating new foods.
Relax & Recharge: Traveling helps me get rid of stress and feel refreshed.
Clear Thinking: When I'm away from my normal life, I can think more clearly. I often plan for the next year during my December trips, especially when I'm on a plane or train. Instead of watching movies, I use that time to think and write down my ideas. I get some of my best ideas while traveling!
Friday Reflections
This Friday, I'm thinking about having a good balance in life, the joy of traveling, and making sure I'm living my life with purpose. I'm looking forward to this time to focus on myself and my business, and I know it will make my future adventures even better.
What are your plans this weekend? Tell me in the comments!
Peace.✌️ Love you all.😍
Your journey is amazingly beautiful. In fact, it encourages us to plan for our own travel.
