Shibuya Crossing. It's famous for being super busy and full of energy. Yesterday, as I walked through the tons of people there, I felt a lot of things at once. It was crazy to see so many people, and it made me feel kind of small in this world of 8 billion people.
From the Sky Lobby, the people below looked tiny, like little dots. It's easy to feel lost in the crowd, to wonder if you matter when there are so many other people trying to be noticed and loved.
But even though I felt small, I realized something important. We all want the same things: to be seen, to feel important, and to be loved. We want to connect with others and know that our lives matter.
But here's the thing: When everyone wants the same things, it's easy to only think about ourselves. We might forget about other people who also want to connect and feel valued.
Looking at Things Differently
What if, instead of waiting for others to see us, we really focused on seeing them? What if, instead of waiting to feel important, we tried to understand what makes the people around us special? What if, instead of waiting to be loved, we showed love and kindness to everyone?
This change in thinking, from "me" to "we," is where being a good leader and growing as a person starts. It's about realizing we're all connected and that by helping others feel good, we also feel good.
Leading with Love and Kindness
Imagine a world where everyone felt seen, important, and loved. A world where we took the time to understand each other's problems, celebrate each other's wins, and offer help without judging. This is the kind of world I want to live in, a world where we care about each other and want to connect.
Kindness Makes a Difference
When we try to see, appreciate, and love others, it makes a big difference. Our actions encourage other people to do the same, and this creates more kindness and respect.
What You Can Do
This week, I challenge you to join me in thinking about "we" instead of just "me." Let's try to:
Really see the people around us: Take the time to listen to them, understand them, and let them know that they matter.
Show appreciation: Tell others how much you appreciate them, what makes them special, and how glad you are that they're in your life.
Be kind and loving: Help others, say encouraging things, and show compassion to those who need it.
By doing these things, we not only make our own lives better but also help create a world where everyone feels like they belong, are important, and are loved.
Let's make a difference, together. Share your thoughts and ideas in the comments below.
Peace.✌️ Love you all.😍
